2.450 Major Purchasers
JETRO and Auto Guangzhou organizer jointly pay the expenses for 450 purchasers and R&D professionals from the auto makers and their primary suppliers around the country to attend the event. This is the first attempt made by JAPPE.
3.Exchange with Non-Japanese Exhibitors
Besides JAPPE, the parts section of this year’s Auto Guangzhou will have a new pavilion, which will be organized by the powerful organizer of China’s domestic auto parts exhibition AUTOMECHANIKA SHANGHAI. Japanese-invested enterprises will be able to explore even more business opportunities with other foreign-invested and Chinese enterprises.
4.Free Visitor Admission
The parts section of this year’s Auto Guangzhou will be set relative apart from the whole vehicle section. Trade visitors will be allowed free admission to the parts section. The purpose is to ensure the trade nature of the visitors, for whom no extra cost will be incurred even if they enter this section multiple times during the show.
5.Superb Venue
This year’s JAPPE will be held in Hall 9.2, which is located near the front entrance of the parts section of Auto Guangzhou. It is separated from the whole vehicle section only by a road and is connected with the latter by a platform. The JAPPE hall is advantageously located.
6.Slashed Booth Rental
To provide material support to the Japanese-invested enterprises in today’s grim economic situation, JETRO has slashed the booth rental. The rental for a shell scheme booth (9 m2) in the Purchasers’ Section is RMB7,000 and that in the Suppliers’ Section or the Service Providers’ Section is RMB8,000.
7.A Shortened Duration of Three Days
As a measure to further reduce the time and cost burden to the exhibitors, the duration of JAPPE will be shortened to three days.
8.Hall Divided into Sections by Purpose
The JAPPE hall is divided into a Purchasers’ Section for search of supply channels and a Suppliers’ Section and a Service Providers’ Section for promotion of sales. Such division of the hall will help the visitors reach their target section quickly.
9.High Standard of Shell Scheme Booths
This year’s JAPPE will adopt a high standard of design for the shell scheme booths , which will be set at the center of the hall. An exhibitor who rents a high standard shell scheme booth won’t have to be concerned about the decoration cost or the keeping-up-with-the-joneses competition among peer exhibitors, and therefore can better focus on the promotion of their business.
10. Pre-event Online Communication:

Starting from mid-September, viewers of the JAPPE official website will be able to download from the Exhibitor List page business talk application forms already filled in with the information about the desired counterpart. The applicant can then fill in its own information, print out the form and fax it to the counterpart, making it possible to hold pre-event business talks.
